Inline MAXI-Fuse Holder

The Rockford Fosgate RFFMXI is an inline MAXI-fuse holder designed for automotive electrical systems. It provides a secure connection point for circuit protection in vehicle wiring installations. The unit is supplied new and ready for installation.

Suits 4 AWG and 8 AWG wiring

This holder accepts 4 AWG or 8 AWG wire, making it suitable for installers working with those specific cable gauges. It is not intended for applications requiring smaller or larger conductor sizes. Buyers needing compatibility with different wire gauges should look at alternative fuse holder designs.

Accepts 4 AWG or 8 AWG wire

The defining specification is the confirmed compatibility with 4 AWG and 8 AWG conductors. This wire-gauge acceptance determines whether the holder matches the cable cross-section used in the installation. Verify the wire size in the project before purchasing.

Questions about this item

Does the RFFMXI come with a MAXI fuse or do I need to buy one separately?

The package contains the inline fuse holder only; a MAXI fuse must be purchased separately to match your circuit amperage.

Should I choose the 4 AWG or 8 AWG wire size for my installation?

Select the gauge that matches your power wire — use 4 AWG for higher-current runs or 8 AWG for lighter loads; the holder accepts either size.

What does the 2.00 weight figure mean when the holder is mounted in the vehicle?

At 2.00 units the holder is lightweight enough to secure with a single screw or cable tie without adding strain to the wiring harness.
