Trailer highway tire 235/85R16

The Rockland G-Force ST is a highway terrain all season tire built for special trailer service. Its 16 ply rating and load range H indicate a strengthened internal structure designed to maintain shape under heavy loads. The ribbed tread pattern delivers continuous road contact for predictable towing stability.

Suits trailer owners needing load durability

Buyers who want a tire for light trucks or passenger vehicles should look elsewhere because this model is specifically designed for trailer axles only. Users requiring run flat capability or a specific treadlife warranty will not find those features here. The tire addresses highway towing stability rather than off road traction needs.

Rim not included changes installation planning

The purchase includes the tire only despite product images that may show a wheel for display. Buyers must source a compatible 16 inch rim separately before mounting can occur. This separation means the total project cost and timing depend on rim availability and professional fitting services.

Questions about this item

What wheel diameter do I need to mount the 235/85R16 H tire?

The tire fits a 16 inch rim. Confirm your trailer wheel is exactly 16 inches in diameter before installation.

Can I keep my existing trailer wheels and just replace the tyres?

Yes, if your current wheels are 16 inch diameter with the correct width for a 235 mm section tyre. Verify the wheel width matches the tyre specification.

How can I check the tyre is seated correctly after fitting?

Inspect the bead line on both sidewalls; it should sit evenly around the rim flange. Inflate to the pressure moulded on the sidewall and confirm the tyre runs true with no wobble.
