Rod Saver 10-Inch and 6-Inch Set

The Rod Saver Original Marine Rod Saver Set includes a 10-inch strap for the handle end and a 6-inch strap for the tips. This 2-piece black set holds up to 6 rods securely. It is designed for anglers who want organised rod storage on their boat.

Stainless Steel Mounting Hardware

The included stainless steel mounting hardware resists corrosion in marine environments. Installation is straightforward using the supplied fittings. The hardware keeps straps firmly fixed during travel and rough water conditions.

Two Straps for Handle and Tip

The 10-inch strap secures the thicker handle section while the 6-inch strap grips the thinner tips. This combination prevents rods from shifting or tangling together. The set solves the need for separate tie-downs at both ends of the rod.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 10-inch and 6-inch straps with the stainless steel hardware?

Mount the 10-inch strap at the handle end and the 6-inch strap at the tip end using the included stainless steel hardware; the step often missed is aligning both straps so the rods sit evenly without twisting.

What maintenance will the straps and stainless steel hardware need over time?

Rinse the straps and hardware with fresh water after saltwater exposure and inspect stitching and fasteners periodically for corrosion or wear.

How many rods can the set hold before the straps reach their limit?

The set is designed to hold up to 6 rods; exceeding that capacity stresses the straps and mounting points.
