Wireless Micro Lightning kit

The RODE Wireless Micro Lightning is an ultra-compact, two-person wireless microphone system that plugs directly into the Lightning port on an iOS smartphone or tablet. It is built for mobile creators, journalists, and streamers who need hands-free audio without cables or complex setup. The transmitters pair automatically with the dual-channel receiver when powered on. Its clip-on and magnetic mounting options keep the package discreet on camera.

328-foot range and 18-hour runtime

The system delivers reliable wireless transmission at distances up to 328 feet, giving subjects freedom to move during interviews or walk-and-talk segments. Each transmitter uses a built-in omnidirectional capsule with a 360-degree pickup pattern that maintains consistent levels when the speaker turns away. The included charging case stores the components and provides two additional full charges, extending total operating time to 18 hours for all-day shoots.

GainAssist and Lightning convenience

Intelligent GainAssist technology automatically adjusts audio levels in real time, removing the need for manual gain staging and preventing clipped or quiet recordings. The receiver draws power from the host device through the Lightning connection, so no separate battery or cable is required for the receiving end. Transmitters are ultra-lightweight and feature integrated omnidirectional microphones, eliminating the need for external lavalier mics and keeping the on-camera profile minimal.
