16mm T2.6 Cine Lens for Canon EF

The Rokinon XEEN 16mm T2.6 Pro Cine Lens is built for professional videographers and photographers using Canon EF mount cameras. Its wide-angle focal length suits expansive landscapes, architecture and street scenes. The fast T2.6 aperture supports low-light shooting with shallow depth of field. 6K ready optics deliver the resolution demanded by modern cinema production.

Full-frame coverage with internal focus

The image circle covers a full-frame sensor, giving a very wide angle of view on compatible cameras. Internal focus design keeps the lens length constant while focusing, which minimises focus breathing during pulls. A 200-degree focus throw allows precise manual adjustments. The 40-degree iris rotation provides smooth aperture control for exposure changes.

Multi-coated optics matched across the series

Each XEEN lens is multi-coated for optimal contrast and glare prevention. Factory colour matching ensures minimal shift when building a set over time. The durable all-metal body withstands daily production rigours. An integrated support foot helps balance the lens on rigs and tripods. Large, easy-to-read markings simplify operation in varied lighting conditions.

Questions about this item

Does the 200° focus rotation hold its position during long takes?

The 200° focus throw provides precise manual control and the internal focus design keeps the lens length constant, minimising focus breathing during extended shooting.

How hot does the all-metal barrel get after hours of continuous filming?

The durable metal construction dissipates heat effectively during prolonged use, and the internal focus mechanism avoids external moving parts that could generate additional warmth.

Will this T2.6 16mm lens mount directly on my Canon EF cinema camera?

Yes, the lens is built with a native Canon EF mount and covers a full-frame image circle, so it attaches directly without adapters.
