20mm f/1.4 Art Lens for L Mount

This 20mm f/1.4 DG DN Art lens is built for full-frame mirrorless cameras using the L mount. It targets photographers who need ultra-wide coverage combined with an exceptionally bright aperture for low-light and creative depth-of-field work. The Essential Kit bundles the lens with accessories that support everyday shooting.

f/1.4 aperture for astrophotography and low light

The f/1.4 maximum aperture gathers abundant light, making the lens a strong choice for astrophotography and indoor scenes where flash is impractical. Optical construction uses FLD and SLD glass elements to suppress aberrations, while Nano Porous Coating reduces flare and ghosting. Sharpness holds across the frame even at the widest stop, though extreme corners at infinity focus may show the limits of any ultra-wide design.

Compact Art prime for mirrorless systems

Designed natively for mirrorless L-mount bodies, the lens keeps a compact profile without the bulk of adapted DSLR optics. It accepts front filters for protection or creative effects and includes a stepping-motor AF drive suited to both stills and video. Build quality is robust with weather-resistant sealing, but the fixed 20mm focal length means photographers needing zoom flexibility or longer reach will need additional lenses.
