Rosco Cinegel #3814 Gold Reflection Filter

The Rosco Cinegel #3814 is a thin mirror soft filter designed for photographers and videographers who need precise control over reflected light. Its gold tone adds subtle warmth and depth to scenes, making it a creative tool for studio and location work.

20x24 inch sheet for versatile light shaping

The 20x24 inch dimensions provide ample coverage for a wide range of lighting setups and modifiers. The sheet can be easily cut and shaped to fit specific light sources, though very large overhead frames or full-wall cyc lighting may require multiple sheets.

Lightweight silver mirror material for easy rigging

Crafted from virtually weightless silver mirror material, the filter adds minimal load to frames, C-stands or gaffer tape mounts. Its soft texture allows quick application and removal, freeing up setup time for fine-tuning the gold-reflected look.

Questions about this item

Will the 20x24" sheet cover the older Fresnel heads I already own?

The 20x24 inch sheet provides ample coverage for most studio Fresnel heads and can be cut to fit smaller barn-door frames.

How do I verify the gold mirror effect is rendering correctly on set?

Aim a key light through the filter at a white card; you should see a soft, warm gold reflection with no hard edge or colour shift.

Does the box include mounting clips or adhesive for the 3814 filter?

The package contains only the 20x24 inch gold mirror soft filter sheet; clips, tape or frames must be sourced separately.
