USB-powered rope light

The Rosewill GLPE rope light runs on 5 volts from any USB port such as a phone charger, computer or power bank. A 32.8 ft strip holds 150 LEDs of the 3535 full-colour type. The silicone-sealed IP65 rating protects the chips against dust and water jets.

Plug-and-play setup

Connect the control box to the strip, insert the USB plug into a power source and pair the Bluetooth module with the companion app. The remote pairs automatically; if it does not, hold the pairing button for three seconds. Ensure the USB supply can deliver 30 watt-hours or the strip may dim.

Indoor and outdoor accent lighting

Suits renters, campers and party hosts who want colour-changing accents without permanent wiring. Not for buyers who need mains-voltage installation, fixed architectural coving or runs longer than the supplied length.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the 150 LEDs are responding to the app after I plug the USB into a 5 V source?

Open the companion app, select the music-sync mode, play audio and watch the 150 LEDs change colour in time with the beat; the remote’s power button should also toggle the strip on and off instantly.

Which items arrive in the package and which power source must I supply myself?

The box contains one 32.8 ft LED rope light with 150 LEDs, one control box, one remote and a user manual; you must provide any 5 V USB charger, power bank or computer port because no wall plug is included.

Should I choose the 32.8 ft version or the shorter 15.75 ft option for an IP65 outdoor run?

Pick the 32.8 ft model when you need the full 150 LED count and 30 Wh rating for a longer perimeter; choose the 15.75 ft variant only if the shorter run matches the space and you want less cable to manage.
