Blue Meteor Shower Lights

The Rosewill JMEXSUSS set delivers a meteor shower effect with 144 blue LEDs across eight tubes. Solar power removes the need for mains wiring, making the lights suited to gardens, patios, trees and seasonal displays. Each tube measures 11.8 inches and the total string spans 15.75 feet with a 118 inch lead length. The IP65 rating confirms protection against rain and dust for outdoor use.

Thermals, Noise and Power Draw

A 0.8 watt solar panel charges the internal battery during daylight, providing up to six hours of illumination after dark. LED emitters run cool, so the plastic tubes stay safe to touch even after extended operation. No moving parts means completely silent performance, ideal for quiet evening settings. The self-contained design avoids any ongoing electricity cost.

Upgrade Path and When It Matters

This set replaces fixed-wire holiday strings that require outdoor sockets or extension leads, and it supersedes single-strand solar lights that cannot be linked. Male and female plugs allow multiple sets to run from one panel, so the jump is worthwhile when covering large eaves, gazebos or long fence lines. Buyers needing permanent year-round lighting or colour-changing modes should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How do I hang the eight 11.8-inch tubes and where do people usually place the solar panel?

Mount each tube with the built-in loops or zip-ties; position the solar panel where it receives direct sun for a full day so the 0.8 W array can charge the internal battery.

What part will need attention after a season outdoors?

The rechargeable cell inside the solar housing loses capacity over time; replace the panel unit when the lights no longer stay on for six hours.

How many 144-LED sets can I link before the meteor effect dims?

The male/female plugs allow chaining, but the single 0.8 W panel supports only about five sets before the tubes no longer reach full brightness for the rated six-hour run.
