Rosewill VOLIVO 100ft LED String Light

The Rosewill VOLIVO V-B3515NWF-02 provides 100 feet of LED strip lighting across two 50-foot rolls with 150 total LEDs. It suits homeowners and decorators wanting app or remote-controlled colour changes for bedrooms, kitchens, stairs or party areas. The corded electric kit runs on a 24-volt adapter and is rated for indoor use. Music sync and microphone modes let the lights react to sound for events.

Thermals noise and power draw

The strip draws 36 watts from the included 24-volt power supply during normal operation. LEDs run cool so the strips remain safe to touch after extended use. There are no moving parts or fans, so the product adds no audible noise to the room. The adhesive backing and cuttable design allow straightforward installation without extra hardware.

Bluetooth app and IR remote control

Control is handled through a Bluetooth smartphone app and a 24-key IR remote, offering 16 million colour options with dimming and brightness adjustment. The app enables music sync, microphone reactivity, timer scheduling and scene presets. Strips can be cut every three LEDs along marked lines and reconnected with compatible connectors. The product is non-waterproof and intended for indoor locations only.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 100 ft LED strip and what step is often missed?

Clean the surface, peel the strong self-adhesive backing, press the strip firmly along the full length, then connect the 24 V adapter; the step often missed is cutting only at the marked lines every 3 LEDs to avoid dead sections.

What maintenance or replacement will the V-B3515NWF-02 need over time?

The 150 integrated LEDs are not user-replaceable; maintenance is limited to wiping the strip with a dry cloth and ensuring the 36 W adapter stays ventilated — if a section fails after the cut marks are used, that segment must be removed and the strip re-joined with a compatible connector.

What limit appears first during continuous music-sync operation?

The 36 W power supply and 24 V input set the hard ceiling; driving all 150 LEDs at maximum brightness for long periods will hit the adapter’s thermal limit before the LEDs themselves degrade, causing automatic dimming or shutdown until it cools.
