Product identity

The Rosseto Serving Solutions AG012 Avant Guarde is a transparent acrylic sneeze guard measuring 48 by 28 units. It is designed for food service operators who need an immediate barrier that meets current health regulations while preserving a modern, unobtrusive appearance for guests.

Thermals noise and power

This item is a passive acrylic shield with no moving parts, electronics or power requirements. It produces no noise, generates no heat and draws no electricity during normal use on a serving line or counter.

Upgrade context

The guard replaces makeshift barriers such as improvised plastic sheeting or basic plexiglass panels that can look clinical and obstruct sightlines. The jump is worthwhile when a venue wants a purpose-built, regulation-aligned shield that integrates cleanly with existing décor and can be deployed instantly without tools.

Questions about this item

How is the 48x28 acrylic sneeze guard installed on a counter?

The guard rests on its built-in 12-inch high feet; the step often missed is ensuring the transparent acrylic panel sits flush against the surface so no gaps remain.

What maintenance will the acrylic panel need over time?

Clean the transparent acrylic with mild soap and a soft cloth to avoid scratches; replace the panel if cracks or deep clouding appear.

What limit appears first when the guard stays in place all day?

The 12-inch clearance height is the first constraint; taller serving dishes or equipment may not fit underneath during sustained use.
