Questions about this item

What clearance is needed for the foot pedal to open the ABS lid on this 34" high hamper?

The foot pedal sits at the base of the 34" high unit, so allow enough floor space in front for your foot to press down and the lid to swing open without hitting nearby furniture.

Can the 6.5 cu ft mesh liner be removed while the PVC frame stays in place?

Yes, the mesh liner is designed to lift out of the PVC frame for cleaning or replacement while the frame remains stationary.

How do I confirm the foot pedal and lid are operating correctly after assembly?

Press the foot pedal; the ABS lid should open smoothly and stay open, then close fully when you release the pedal without binding against the 19-3/4" wide frame.
