Product identity and fitment

Royal Black Racing Trac 205/50R17 93W XL is a high-performance all-season passenger tire. The 205 mm section width and 17 inch rim diameter suit many compact and mid-size sedans. Load index 93 and XL rating handle heavier axle loads. Speed rating W supports up to 168 mph.

Drivers who need year-round grip

The all-season compound and M+S rating deliver traction in wet, dry and light snow conditions. UTQG 420AA indicates strong treadwear and traction grades. Drivers who require dedicated winter tires or run-flat capability should consider other options.

Deciding specification: load index 93 XL

Load index 93 combined with the XL rating determines whether this tire meets the vehicle's required load capacity. Verify the car's placard specification before purchase.

Questions about this item

Will this 205/50R17 tire fit my existing 17-inch wheels?

Yes, the tire is built for a 17-inch rim diameter. Verify your wheel width falls within the approved range for a 205 mm section width before mounting.

Can I mix these 93W XL tires with the standard-load tires still on the other axle?

The XL rating means a higher load capacity than standard-load tires. Mixing different load ratings on the same vehicle can upset handling balance and is not recommended.

How do I confirm the tires are performing correctly after installation?

Check that the sidewall shows the 205/50R17 93W XL markings, inflate to the vehicle placard pressure, and verify even tread contact across the 205 mm width during the first few kilometres.
