Questions about this item

Does this 225/55R16 tire require a 16-inch rim to fit my vehicle?

Yes, the 225/55R16 size is designed for a 16-inch rim diameter; the rim itself is not included with the tire.

Will the 99 load index and V speed rating match the original tyres on my older sedan?

The tyre carries a 99 load index and V speed rating good for up to 149 mph, so it will match or exceed many factory specifications for passenger sedans.

How can I confirm the tread is wearing evenly after the first few thousand miles?

Check the tread depth across the 225 mm section width; the tyre starts at 7/32 of an inch and should wear uniformly when inflation and alignment are correct.
