Questions about this item

What speed does the W rating on this 245/30R20 tyre cap in practice?

The W rating certifies a maximum speed of 168 mph, so this tyre is approved for sustained running up to that speed when correctly inflated and loaded.

What rim diameter and load marking must the wheel have for this 245/30R20 XL tyre?

The tyre fits a 20 inch diameter rim and carries an XL load range marking, so the wheel must be 20 inches and rated for extra-load capacity.

How is this tyre mounted and what step do fitters often skip?

A tyre machine seats the beads on the 20 inch rim, then the assembly is balanced; the step often skipped is checking and adjusting pressure after the first few miles.
