Tire Size and Fitment

The Royal Black Touring HP is a 235/60R16 tire built for SUVs and light trucks. It carries a 100 load index and an XL rating for extra load capacity. The V speed rating allows sustained driving up to 149 mph. Overall diameter measures 27.1 inches with a 235 mm section width.

All-Season Touring Use

This tire suits drivers who want year-round traction on family sedans, crossovers and SUVs. The A traction grade and 560 treadwear rating support daily commuting and highway touring. It is not for buyers who need dedicated winter grip or maximum off-road traction. Run-flat capability is not included.

Critical Load and Speed Specification

The 100V XL designation is the single figure that confirms fitment for your vehicle. It certifies the tire meets the required load capacity and maximum speed for safe operation. Verify this exact code against your placard before purchase. The 16 inch rim size must also match your wheels.

Questions about this item

Does the Royal Black Touring HP 235/60R16 100V XL include a rim, or must I buy one separately?

The purchase includes the tyre only; the rim is not included and must be sourced separately.

How do I choose between the 235/60R16 100V XL and other sizes or load ranges for my SUV?

Match the 235/60R16 size, load index 100, speed rating V and XL load range to your vehicle's placard; other sizes or load ranges will not fit the same 16-inch rim or meet the same load requirement.

What does the 560 treadwear rating mean for daily driving on this tyre?

The UTQG 560 treadwear rating indicates a longer-wearing compound relative to the 100 reference tyre, so under identical conditions you can expect more miles before the 7/32-inch tread depth wears down.
