Recycling Lid for 32 Gal Containers

The Rubbermaid Commercial 1788376 Brute lid fits 32-gallon BRUTE containers to create a dedicated bottle and can recycling station. Its blue colour provides clear visual sorting for breakrooms and public areas. The all-plastic resin construction resists rust, chipping and peeling in daily use.

Drop-In Opening Changes Waste Sorting

The specialised lid opening accepts bottles and cans while restricting other waste streams. Users deposit recyclables without touching the lid surface for hands-free disposal. This targeted aperture increases compliance by making the correct action obvious at the point of disposal.

Resin Build Suits High-Traffic Indoor Use

The HDPE resin body withstands repeated impacts and cleaning without corrosion. Measuring 21.00 by 12.00 inches, the lid seats securely on compatible BRUTE containers sold separately. The lightweight design allows quick removal for emptying while staying stable during use.

Questions about this item

How often will the resin lid need replacing under normal indoor use?

The all-plastic construction will not rust, chip or peel, so the lid itself does not require scheduled replacement.

What stops the lid from fitting if the container rim is warped?

The lid measures 21.00 by 12.00 inches and is designed to drop onto a 32-gallon BRUTE container; a distorted rim will prevent a secure fit.

Does the lid trap heat or create noise when left on the container all day?

The open bottle-and-can aperture allows airflow and adds no mechanical noise, so heat build-up and sound are negligible.
