Square Swing-Top Lid for Waste Containers

This gray plastic lid fits square Rubbermaid Commercial waste containers and uses a drop-and-swing mechanism. The door opens when refuse is dropped in and then swings shut to conceal contents and contain odours. Crack-resistant construction suits daily use in breakrooms and public areas. Model 2664GRAY is supplied new.

Suits Facilities Needing Hands-Free Disposal

The swing-door design works well for offices, lobbies and washrooms where a hygienic, self-closing lid is required. It does not lock, so sites that need secured or animal-proof containment should consider a different style. Buyers wanting a round or rectangular lid must verify container shape before ordering.

Simple Drop-On Installation

The lid seats directly on the container rim with no tools or fasteners. Alignment is straightforward, but the swing door can bind if the container wall is warped or cracked. Ensure the base is square and undamaged so the door returns cleanly after each use.

Questions about this item

Which square waste container does the 2664GRAY lid fit?

The lid is designed for Rubbermaid Commercial square containers of matching size; check your container model number for compatibility.

Will the swing door clear the rim of an older square bin I already own?

The drop-and-swing door sits inside the lid frame; it clears standard square rims but verify your bin's outer dimensions match the lid footprint.

How can I confirm the lid is seated correctly after placing it on the bin?

The lid should sit flush on all four sides and the swing door must return to a fully closed position without binding.
