Deskside wastebasket 3.25 gal beige

The Rubbermaid Commercial 295500BGCT is a rectangular plastic wastebasket with a 3.25 gal capacity. It measures 12.1" high, 8.3" wide and 11.4" deep so it fits under standard desk height. The all-plastic construction resists chips, rust and dents while the rolled rim adds strength. This pack contains 12 beige units for office or breakroom use.

Capacity and everyday headroom

A 3.25 gal volume handles daily desk-side refuse such as paper, packaging and light food waste without frequent emptying. The rectangular shape maximises internal space within the compact footprint. It runs out when users need to dispose of bulky items or large volumes of liquid waste that exceed the 3.25 gal limit.

Practical limits of a simple receptacle

The bin has no liner retention system, so bags can slip down during heavy use. The open top offers no odour containment for food scraps. Plastic construction can deform if exposed to direct heat sources or very hot ashes. The fixed 12.1" height prevents use under lower clearance surfaces.

Questions about this item

Will the 12.1-inch height of these 12 beige bins fit under my older standard-height desk?

Yes, the 12.1-inch height is designed to fit under standard desk height, so your existing desk should accommodate all 12 wastebaskets without issue.

How can I verify the all-plastic construction is holding up after daily use?

Check that the rolled rim shows no cracks, the beige finish remains free of chips or rust, and the rectangular 11.4-inch depth retains its shape when the 3.25-gallon capacity is full.

Does the 12-pack include liners or lids, or must I buy them separately?

The box contains only the 12 beige rectangular plastic wastebaskets; liners and lids are not included and must be purchased separately.
