Square 28 gal capacity for high-volume areas

The Rubbermaid Commercial 352600GY Brute container provides 28 gallons of capacity in a square footprint that holds 14% more than round equivalents. Grey polyethylene construction suits commercial kitchens, breakrooms and waste-collection points where floor space is at a premium.

Passive durability with no power or noise

The container has no moving parts, fans or electrical components, so it operates silently and draws zero power. Polyethylene resin resists dents and corrosion, while the double-ribbed base and reinforced rim withstand daily impacts without degrading thermal or acoustic conditions in the room.

Nesting handles and flat sides simplify daily

Built-in nesting handles allow secure stacking for side-by-side storage or transport, and the flat sides let the unit sit flush against walls. Rounded corners and smooth contours speed up cleaning routines, while the tight-fitting lid is sold separately to complete the system.

Questions about this item

How do I position the 352600GY Brute Container so the nesting handles lock securely for side-by-side use?

Align the built-in nesting handles on each container so they interlock; the flat side lets you push the unit flush against a wall for a stable, space-saving row.

What part of the 28 gal square container will need replacement first under daily refuse collection?

The tight-fitting lid, sold separately, typically wears out before the polyethylene body because it sees repeated opening, closing and impact.

At what fill level does the 14 % capacity advantage over round cans become noticeable during sustained use?

The extra volume shows up as soon as you exceed the equivalent round-container fill line, letting you collect more waste before the bag needs changing.
