23-Gallon Square Receptacle Pack

This four-pack of Rubbermaid Commercial 356988BGCT containers provides 23 gallons of capacity each for high-traffic indoor or outdoor areas. The beige square profile fits flush against walls or corners in breakrooms, lobbies or covered patios. Durable plastic construction resists cracking under daily use. Lids are sold separately to match specific waste-stream needs.

Replaces Round Bins and Tied Liners

The square footprint delivers up to 23 gallons in the same floor space as smaller round receptacles, making the upgrade worthwhile when waste volume outgrows existing bins. A built-in liner cinch holds bags securely without knots or elastic bands, eliminating the hassle of re-tying liners after every collection. Crack-resistant walls withstand repeated impacts from cleaning equipment or cart traffic.

Sustained Load Performance

Thick-wall plastic maintains structural integrity when the 23-gallon volume is fully loaded with heavy refuse, preventing the bowing common in thinner containers. The cinch mechanism keeps the liner from collapsing inward during extended fill cycles, even in 30.9-inch tall units. Beige finish hides surface scuffs from months of indoor/outdoor exposure without showing UV fade.

Questions about this item

What floor space does each 15.5 by 16.5 inch square receptacle need?

Each container measures 15.5 inches wide and 16.5 inches deep, so allow at least that footprint plus clearance for bag removal.

How do I secure a liner using the built-in cinch?

Pull the bag over the rim, seat the cinch tabs into the molded grooves, and press down — skipping the grooves lets the liner slip when the container is lifted.

When should I replace a unit if the plastic cracks?

The crack-resistant plastic withstands heavy indoor and outdoor use; replace a receptacle only when a visible fracture compromises the cinch or allows leaks.
