Cut-to-length cotton dust mop roll

This continuous 40-foot roll of untreated 4-ply cotton yarn lets you cut dust-mop heads to match any standard frame width. The slide-in backing slides onto a 5-inch headband for a secure fit without sewing or tools. It is designed for dry floor maintenance in commercial breakrooms, hallways and offices.

Suited for custom-fit dry dusting.

Facilities teams who need specific lengths for odd-sized frames will appreciate the cut-to-length convenience. Buyers who require launderable heads should look elsewhere because the cotton is not washable. Anyone needing pre-assembled, ready-to-use mop heads will find this roll requires cutting and assembly first.

Untreated cut-end cotton on a 40 ft roll

The single deciding specification is the untreated cut-end 4-ply cotton construction on a continuous 40-foot roll, which determines dust pickup performance and the need to cut each head to length before use.

Questions about this item

Should I buy the 5-inch by 40-foot roll or a pre-cut mop head?

The 40-foot roll lets you cut each head to the exact length your frame needs, so you avoid waste and fit any standard 5-inch frame.

How much dust will the untreated 4-ply cotton actually pick up?

The 4-ply cotton yarn grabs fine dust and hair on hard floors without treatment, so one pass collects debris that a treated pad might push around.

Does the slide-in backing work with a standard 5-inch headband frame?

Yes, the slide-in backing is sized for a 5-inch headband and locks onto any compatible frame without tools.
