24 oz Blend Wet Mop

The Rubbermaid Commercial RCP D253 BLU is a 24 oz Super Stitch blend wet mop designed for commercial cleaning tasks. Its cotton and synthetic yarn construction provides absorbency and strength for daily floor maintenance. The blue colour helps designate use for specific areas or cleaning solutions. It is built for professional environments requiring reliable performance.

5-inch headband clamp compatibility

This mop uses a 5.00-inch headband designed for clamp-style handles, which are sold separately. The looped ends and yarn tailband increase floor coverage during use. Buyers who need a different attachment style or a handle included will find this configuration unsuitable. The mop head measures 2.50 by 5.50 by 7.00 inches when laid flat.

Simple clamp installation

Attaching the mop requires a compatible clamp-style handle; the headband slides into the clamp and tightens securely. The most common issue is purchasing the mop head without realising the handle is not supplied. Ensuring the clamp mechanism matches the 5.00-inch headband width prevents connection problems during setup.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 24 oz or 18 oz version of this mop?

The 24 oz mop holds more liquid for larger floor areas, while the 18 oz option is lighter for smaller spaces or frequent wringing.

What does the 24 oz capacity mean when I am actually mopping?

It indicates the mop can absorb and release roughly 24 ounces of solution, covering more square footage before you need to re-dip the head.

How does the 5-inch headband work with my handle?

The 5-inch headband fits standard clamp-style mop handles, securing the mop head firmly so it will not slip during use.
