Rubbermaid Tilt Truck 1 cu yd

The Rubbermaid FG131500BLA is a plastic tilt truck with a 27.0 cu ft capacity and a 1,250 lb load rating. Its black body measures 72 1/4 in long, 33 1/2 in wide and 43 3/4 in high. Two axle-mounted and two swivel rubber casters provide manual mobility across yards or work sites.

Suited for heavy bulk transport, not for light loads

Landscapers and facility crews moving soil, mulch or debris will use the full cubic-yard volume and high weight limit. Buyers who need a smaller footprint or a lid for containment should look at other configurations since this model ships without a handle or cover.

Optional lid 1317 adds weather protection

The manufacturer lists lid model 1317 as an accessory that can be added to the truck. Fitting that lid helps keep materials dry and contained during transport or storage. No other bundled accessories or software are included with the standard unit.

Questions about this item

Do I need to buy the optional lid model 1317 separately to cover the 27.0 cu ft container?

Yes, the optional lid with manufacturer number 1317 is sold separately and fits the 27.0 cu ft capacity of this tilt truck.

Will the 5 in rubber casters on this 72 1/4 in long truck roll smoothly over the same gravel paths my old wheelbarrow handles?

The two axle-mounted and two swivel 5 in rubber casters are designed for manual mobility over rough surfaces including gravel.

How can I confirm the 1,250 lb load capacity is holding up after I load the 33 1/2 in wide tub?

The truck remains level and the casters roll without binding when the distributed load stays within the 1,250 lb rating.
