Slim Jim 4 gal step-on container

This Rubbermaid FG1883563 is a front-step resin bin designed for breakrooms and cleaning stations. The 4-gallon capacity suits small-footprint areas where a hands-free waste solution is needed. The red colour helps designate the container for specific waste streams.

Internal hinge design protects walls during lid

Quiet, controlled lid closure reduces noise in shared spaces. A liner retainer band and cinch hold can liners securely in place. The step-on mechanism allows touch-free disposal without requiring a separate pedal assembly.

Questions about this item

How do I know the Slim Jim step-on container is working correctly after I set it up?

The lid should close quietly and smoothly without banging, and the internal hinge should not touch or mark the wall behind it.

What comes in the box with the FG1883563 and what do I need to buy separately?

The box contains the 4-gallon resin container with the attached front-step lid and the built-in liner retainer band; you will need to purchase can liners separately.
