45-gallon round street basket

The Rubbermaid FGSBR52BK is a 45-gallon round outdoor waste container designed for public spaces and commercial grounds. Its powder-coated steel construction includes a UV protectant finish for durability in exposed locations. The open-top, stationary design suits parks, streetscapes and facility entrances. It is intended for high-volume litter collection in fixed positions.

Check mounting and clearance needs

Verify that the installation surface can support a free-standing metal can measuring 24 inches in diameter and 33 inches in height. Confirm local regulations do not require a lid or anchoring for the intended site. Ensure the 45-gallon capacity matches the expected waste volume and collection frequency. No lid or mounting hardware is included with the unit.

Replaces smaller or uncoated bins

This basket upgrades from lower-capacity containers that need more frequent emptying in busy areas. The steel body with UV protectant replaces plastic or uncoated metal cans that degrade faster outdoors. The jump is worth it when a stationary, open-top receptacle must withstand heavy public use and weather without fading or cracking.
