Ruckus R650 Unleashed Wi-Fi 6 Access Point
The Ruckus R650 Unleashed is an indoor Wi-Fi 6 access point supporting up to 512 clients per AP. It operates on 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands with IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax standards. The unit includes a 2.5 Gbps Ethernet port, a 1 Gbps Ethernet port and a USB 2.0 Type A port. BeamFlex+ adaptive antennas provide polarisation diversity for improved coverage.
Suited for medium-density indoor deployments
Offices, classrooms, libraries and retail venues benefit from the 4x4 MU-MIMO capability and up to 31 SSIDs per AP. SmartMesh enables self-forming, self-healing mesh networks without additional cabling. Buyers who need outdoor-rated hardware or controller-dependent management should look at other product lines.
2.5 Gbps PoE+ uplink port
The single 2.5 Gbps Ethernet interface accepts PoE+ power over Category 5/5e/6 cable and carries all wired backhaul traffic. A second 1 Gbps port is available for auxiliary wired connections. Ensure the upstream switch provides 802.3at power and 2.5 Gbps link speed to avoid a bottleneck.
