RUCKUS WIRELESS

RUCKUS WIRELESS E1MG-LX-OM SFP transceiver module 1GbE

SKU CH-KMBX-81C2A MPN E1MG-LX-OM

An SFP transceiver module delivering 1 Gbps over single-mode fibre for long-distance links

  • Gigabit speeds for video calls and 100 users
  • Hot-pluggable SFP installs without network downtime
  • Single-mode fiber reaches long cable runs
  • Small form-factor fits tight server racks
  • Brocade-tested reliability for enterprise networks

Purpose and audience

The Ruckus E1MG-LX-OM is a gigabit SFP transceiver module designed for enterprise network expansion. It serves administrators who need to add single-mode fibre uplinks to compatible Brocade and Ruckus switching equipment.

Deciding specification

This module operates at 1000Base-LX over single-mode fibre, providing a 1 Gbps data rate for long-wavelength transmission across extended cable runs. It is the defining parameter that determines link compatibility and reach.

Build integration

The hot-pluggable SFP form factor allows installation or removal without powering down the switch, preserving uptime in dense server rooms. It frees up a standard SFP port for fibre connectivity while supporting up to 100 users on high-bandwidth applications.
