Enterprise Wi-Fi 6 access point

The RUCKUS R350 901-R350-WW02 is a dual-band 802.11ax wireless access point built for low-density enterprise and hotspot environments. It supports up to 256 concurrent users and 16 SSIDs, making it suitable for small offices, retail outlets, restaurants and multi-tenant branch locations.

Single gigabit uplink constraint

The unit provides one 1 GbE port for wired backhaul, which caps total throughput to the wired network at gigabit speeds. Wireless performance on the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands is therefore limited by this single uplink when many clients are active simultaneously.

Indoor mounting with controller flexibility

Designed for indoor deployment, the access point uses internal antennas with 64 patterns per band and up to 3 dBi gain to optimise coverage in compact spaces. It can be managed through RUCKUS Cloud, SmartZone, Unleashed, ZoneDirector or run in standalone mode without a hardware controller.

Questions about this item

Which capacity should I choose for the R350 access point?

The R350 is a single model (901-R350-WW02) with no selectable capacities; it supports up to 256 concurrent users and 16 SSIDs per AP.

What does Wi-Fi 6 mean for real-world performance on this AP?

Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) on the R350 provides dual-band 2x2:2 streams with 64 antenna patterns per band and up to 3 dBi gain for extended range and capacity.

What does the 1 GbE port limit in practice?

The single 1 GbE uplink caps wired backhaul at 1 Gbps, so aggregate wireless throughput cannot exceed that wired bottleneck.
