What this product is

The RuiPuo 4 Port AV to HDMI Switch Converter connects up to four composite RCA sources to a single HDMI display. It is designed for owners of legacy consoles such as the Wii, N64, PS1, PS2, PS3 and Xbox, plus VHS, VCR and DVD players who want them all available on a modern TV or projector without constant cable swapping.

The specification that decides fit

The unit converts analog composite video to HDMI at 720P or 1080p 60Hz and does not support 4K output. A front-mounted toggle selects 16:9 or 4:3 aspect ratio to match the source material. Power comes from an included 5V 1A DC adapter and switching is handled by push buttons or the supplied IR remote.

Capacity and headroom

Four inputs can be active simultaneously, covering a typical retro-gaming stack and a couple of playback devices. The converter handles PAL, NTSC 3.58, NTSC 4.43, SECAM, PAL/M and PAL/N standards. It tops out at 1080p 60Hz, so 4K displays will receive an upscaled 1080p signal and higher-resolution sources are not supported.
