Pocket AM/FM Radio for Everyday Use

The RunningByte DR-01 is a battery operated portable radio that receives AM and FM bands with digital tuning. It fits in a pocket or bag and runs on three AA cells, so it works during power cuts or away from mains power. A backlit LCD screen shows the station and time, while an integrated speaker delivers clear audio for news, music or sports.

Suits Listeners Who Want Simple Portable Reception

This unit serves anyone needing a compact emergency radio, a bedside clock with sleep timer and snooze, or a lightweight companion for camping and hiking. Buyers who require weather band alerts, rechargeable power, Bluetooth streaming or the ability to store more than five presets per band should consider other models.

Digital Tuning with Five Presets Per Band

The single specification that decides fit is the digital tuner with ten total station memories — five for AM and five for FM. If your routine demands more saved stations or a different tuning method, this radio will not match that need.
