110 metre OM3 duplex patch cord

This 110 metre multimode fibre patch cord uses OM3 50/125 micron cable terminated with LC connectors on both ends. The aqua jacket identifies the OM3 rating for 10 gigabit Ethernet links. It is built for indoor patching between transceivers, switches or patch panels.

Suits installers running 10 gigabit multimode

Buyers who need single‑mode cable for longer distances should look elsewhere. Those requiring SC, ST or MPO connectors will need a different assembly. The fixed 110 metre length cannot be shortened without re‑termination.

Questions about this item

What connectors does the 110M OM3 cable need on my equipment to plug in directly?

The cable has LC connectors on both ends, so each device must provide an LC duplex port for a direct connection.

Can I run this 10 gigabit OM3 link alongside older 50/125 OM1 or OM2 cables without changing transceivers?

Yes, the same LC transceivers work, but the older OM1 or OM2 cables will limit the link to their lower bandwidth and distance ratings.
