What this device is and who it serves

The T8C is a 2.4 GHz wireless air mouse with twelve buttons designed for controlling TV boxes, mini PCs and HTPCs from the sofa. It works with Android, Windows, macOS and Linux systems without any driver installation. The USB receiver provides plug-and-play operation for living-room entertainment setups.

The specification that decides fit

Control distance reaches more than 10 metres or 32.8 feet, so the remote remains responsive across a typical lounge. The unit transmits on the 2.4 GHz band using RF communication and requires two AAA batteries, which are not supplied in the package.

Behaviour under sustained use

The controller operates between 2.5 V and 3.5 V, a range that standard alkaline or rechargeable AAA cells maintain through extended viewing sessions. Its ABS housing and simple twelve-key layout are built for repeated handheld use without active cooling or complex power management.
