Four-port USB 2.0 KVM with VGA

This USB 2.0 KVM switch lets one keyboard, mouse and VGA monitor control up to four computers. It supports a maximum video resolution of 1920x1440 for clear desktop work. The unit also shares a printer and USB pen drive across all connected systems. It suits home offices or small labs that need simple multi-computer access.

Built-in cables and hotkey switching

The package includes the necessary cables so the switch works straight out of the box without extra purchases. Users can change the active computer by pressing the front-panel button or using a keyboard hotkey sequence. No external power adapter is required because the switch draws power from the USB connections. Buyers who need DisplayPort, HDMI or audio switching will need a different device.

Questions about this item

Do the VGA cables or connectors wear out from frequent switching between the four ports?

The VGA connectors are rated for standard mating cycles; with normal desktop use they should last years before any signal degradation appears.

What limits the video quality first during long sessions — the 1920x1440 resolution ceiling or the USB 2.0 bandwidth?

The 1920x1440 resolution ceiling is the hard limit; USB 2.0 only carries keyboard, mouse and pen-drive data, not the video signal.
