Product Identity

The Rycote 011001 Baby Ball Gag Windshield is a low-profile ball-type wind diffuser designed for cylindrical microphones. It suits field recordists and interviewers who need effective wind protection in a compact form factor.

Capacity and Headroom

The 20mm grommet grips the microphone body to enclose the capsule completely within the windshield. It delivers the same windshielding performance as larger models while remaining practical for hand-held operations and mobile interview setups.

Bundled Impact

The integrated grommet allows the microphone to be pushed through for a secure, tool-free fit that fully surrounds the capsule. This design change simplifies mounting during fast-paced recording sessions and maintains consistent wind diffusion without additional hardware.
