Slip-on foam windshield

The Rycote 15cm Standard Hole SGM Foam is a slip-on windshield designed for shotgun microphones. It provides up to 10 dB wind and pop noise attenuation while minimising high-frequency loss. The foam fits microphone heads with 19mm or 22mm diameters for a secure connection. It is supplied with a matching Windjammer for additional protection.

Durable open-cell foam construction

Built from high-quality open-cell acoustic foam, the windscreen resists moisture and UV light for long-term reliability outdoors. The material maintains audio integrity while shielding the microphone capsule from environmental elements. A Windjammer adds a further 12 dB wind noise attenuation when conditions demand extra defence. The slip-on design allows quick mounting without tools.

Check microphone diameter before ordering

This windshield only fits shotgun microphones with a 19mm or 22mm head diameter. Buyers whose microphones measure outside this range cannot use the product. The 15cm length suits standard shotgun profiles; shorter or longer capsules may not be fully covered. No other mounting hardware or adapters are included in the package.
