Door Stop Alarm for Home Security

The SABRE door stop alarm is a compact security device designed for residents and travellers who want an audible alert when a door is opened. It wedges under the door like a traditional stop and sounds a loud alarm if the door moves. The white finish suits most interior décor.

Sustained Load Behaviour

The alarm activates each time the door applies pressure to the wedge, providing repeated alerts for as long as the door is held open or forced. Battery life will determine how many activations are possible before replacement is needed. The unit contains no moving parts beyond the pressure switch.

Setup Checklist

Verify that the gap beneath your door is small enough for the wedge to engage securely when the door is closed. Confirm the floor surface provides enough friction to keep the stop from sliding on smooth tile or polished wood. Ensure you have spare batteries compatible with the device for continued operation.
