Two-source HDMI selector

The Sabrent DA-HSW2 is a compact HDMI switch that lets two sources share one display. It suits desk setups where a PC and a console connect to the same monitor. A single button toggles the active input and LEDs show which port is live. No external power supply is required for typical cable lengths.

4K at 60 Hz with HDR and 3D

The switch passes video up to 4K resolution at 60 Hz and supports HDR and 3D formats. It is backward compatible with 1080p and 2K signals. For reliable 4K 60 Hz operation the supplier advises using standard HDMI 2.0 cables under 3.3 feet each and a combined run no longer than 6.5 feet.

Bidirectional aluminium build

The aluminium enclosure dissipates heat during continuous operation and resists wear from repeated switching. Hot-plug detection and DDC support keep the link stable when sources are powered on or off. The unit measures 2.0 by 1.81 by 0.59 inches and weighs 0.05 kilograms.

Questions about this item

What does 4K@60Hz mean when I connect my PS5 and laptop to this switch?

The switch passes a 4K signal at 60 frames per second from either source to your display, so games and video play at full resolution without dropping to 30 Hz.

Which HDMI version does the DA-HSW2 use, and what does that limit in practice?

It follows the HDMI 2.0 specification, so the maximum bandwidth caps at 4K 60 Hz with HDR; higher refresh rates or 8K are not supported.

How much desk space does the aluminium case need, and how is it powered?

The unit measures 2.0 by 1.81 by 0.59 inches and weighs 0.05 kg; it draws power from the HDMI connection so no external adapter is required.
