Forensic Ballistic Examination Chamber

The Safariland Bullet Catcher Collection Chamber provides a secure environment for firearm examination and bullet retrieval. It replaces traditional water tanks with a non-flammable ballistic fibre medium that captures projectiles in their original, undamaged state. The unit is built for repeated use in forensic and public safety applications while minimising lead exposure and contamination.

Installation Requirements

The chamber measures 53x20x12 inches, so confirm adequate floor space and clearance for the front firing port before ordering. A level, stable surface is needed to support the welded steel frame during operation. Verify that your facility allows live-fire testing indoors and that ventilation meets local regulations for lead particulate.

Thermals Noise and Power

The passive ballistic fibre media generates no operational noise, heat or electrical draw during normal use. Rubber-clasp door seals contain debris and sound within the three internal compartments. No external power supply, cooling system or consumable fluids are required for daily examinations.
