Safavieh QB1881 outdoor rug 5' x 8' green

Outdoor picnic and beach mat

This extra-large mat provides a waterproof and sandproof surface for group outings at the beach, park or campsite. It accommodates up to 34 adults across its 210 x 200 cm footprint. The 100 percent polyester fabric resists moisture and sand while remaining lightweight for transport. Four plastic stakes and a matching travel bag are included for quick setup and storage.

Best for large groups on sand or grass

Families and friend groups needing a single spacious ground cover for picnics, beach days or festivals will appreciate the generous area and stake-down corners. Solo users or couples looking for a compact throw will find this mat excessively large and heavier than a basic blanket. Buyers who need a fixed outdoor rug for a patio or deck should consider a different style.

100 percent polyester waterproof fabric

The woven polyester construction blocks moisture and prevents sand from clinging to the surface. This material choice determines whether the mat suits wet grass, damp sand or sudden showers without soaking through. If your primary need is a breathable woven rug for dry deck use, a different fibre may be preferable.
