24-Compartment Literature Organizer

The Safco 9423WH provides 24 adjustable letter-size compartments for sorting binders, journals, paper and files. It suits home offices, classrooms and craft rooms where documents need quick access. Units can be stacked up to three high for expanded capacity.

Capacity and headroom

Hardboard shelves form 24 letter-size slots and remove easily to create larger storage areas for bulkier items. A plastic rod adapter allows CD storage in the bottom two compartments. The organiser runs out of space when document volume exceeds the fixed 24-compartment grid or when items exceed letter dimensions.

Thermals noise and power

Engineered wood construction with a durable laminate finish requires no power and produces no noise during use. The 41 lb shipping weight and floor-mount design give stable, passive operation in any indoor setting. No thermal management is needed for this static storage unit.

Questions about this item

Will the 16-inch deep compartments still accept standard letter-size folders if I keep my existing 12-inch deep desk?

The unit is 11 3/4 inches deep overall, so letter-size folders will fit; it simply extends about 4 inches beyond a 12-inch desk surface.

How can I verify the shelves are locked in place after I adjust the 24 compartments?

Each hardboard shelf rests on plastic rod adapters that click into the pre-drilled side channels; a firm push until the click is heard confirms the shelf is seated.

Does the box include the plastic rod adapters for the bottom two CD compartments, or must I order them separately?

The plastic rod adapters are included in the box; no extra parts are required for CD storage in the lower compartments.
