Public Square recycling lid, 15 inch

The Safco 2989BL lid fits 15 inch Public Square containers and directs paper, cans, glass or waste into the correct stream. A hinged cover keeps contents contained while the pre-cut opening matches the material type. Self-adhesive labels are included for clear identification.

Hinged lid with material-specific opening

The lid sits on heavy-gauge steel containers used in breakrooms and public areas to separate recyclables at the source. It requires a matching Public Square base and frees up floor space by stacking collection streams in a single footprint. Buyers needing a different opening shape or a non-hinged cover should select another model.

Questions about this item

How does the heavy-gauge steel construction hold up when the container is filled to capacity day after day?

The heavy-gauge steel resists deformation under sustained load, keeping the 15 inch lid aligned and the hinge operating smoothly even when the bin is full.

Does the hinged lid create any rattling or heat buildup during continuous use in a busy breakroom?

The steel lid sits flush on the container, so normal traffic produces only a quiet click on closing and no measurable heat retention inside the bin.
