Desk organiser for active paperwork

The Safco 3129BL steel tray sorter holds eight letter-size compartments in a single desktop footprint. Slanted shelves with finger cut-outs let you pull files or folders without lifting the whole stack. Powder-coated black finish resists fingerprints and matches most office décor. Rubber feet protect the work surface from scratches.

Steady under daily loads

Seventeen-gauge steel keeps each tier rigid when fully loaded with active projects. The welded frame does not flex when you slide a folder out from the middle of the stack. Weight of 11 lbs anchors the unit so it stays put during repeated access. Powder coat withstands constant handling without chipping.

Compact footprint with fixed geometry

Overall dimensions of 17 3/4" high, 12" wide and 9 1/2" deep suit standard desks but cannot be reconfigured. Eight tiers are permanent; you cannot add or remove shelves for larger binders. Rubber feet are fitted, not adjustable, so levelling on uneven surfaces is limited. Buyers needing modular expansion or legal-size capacity should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How much desk space does the 17 3/4-inch high steel sorter occupy when placed on its rubber feet?

The unit measures 12 inches wide by 9 1/2 inches deep, so it fits a standard letter-size footprint while the rubber feet protect the surface.

What must the buyer supply to use the 8-tier sorter for letter-size documents?

Only letter-size papers or folders; the steel frame, slanted shelves with finger cutouts and rubber feet all ship assembled and ready to use.

Will the 11 lb black powder-coat unit sit level on an older desk with a slight warp?

Yes, the four rubber feet compensate for minor surface irregularities and keep the sorter stable without sliding.
