Height-Adjustable T-Pad Arms

These black armrests are designed for Safco Uber Mid-Back and High-Back Executive Chairs. They attach to the chair frame to provide padded support for the forearms. The height-adjustable mechanism allows each user to set the arm position that matches their desk height and posture. Buyers who need a fixed arm or a different mounting pattern should look elsewhere.

Thermals noise and power draw

As passive office furniture components, these armrests generate no heat and produce no audible noise during use. They require no electrical power, batteries or data connections of any kind. The adjustment mechanism operates mechanically without motors or actuators. There are no thermal or acoustic characteristics to consider for the surrounding workspace.

Model 3496 compatibility

The single specification that determines fit is the chair series: these arms are built exclusively for the Safco Uber Big & Tall chair line. They will not mount to other Safco ranges or to chairs from other manufacturers. Verify the exact chair model before purchase to ensure the mounting brackets align correctly.

Questions about this item

How do the 3496BL T-Pad Arms attach to the Uber chair?

They mount to the existing arm brackets on Safco Uber Mid-Back and High-Back Executive Chairs using the supplied hardware; the step often missed is aligning the height-adjustment mechanism before fully tightening the bolts.

Which parts of the 3496BL arms may need replacement after extended use?

The T-pad upholstery and the height-adjustment lever are the wear items; pads can be unbolted and swapped, while the lever assembly is replaceable as a unit.

What is the first limitation you hit when leaning on the 3496BL arms all day?

The fixed pivot range means the pads cannot slide forward or angle inward, so prolonged pressure concentrates on a single contact point rather than distributing across the forearm.
