Big & Tall High-Back Task Chair

The Safco 3502BL is a high-back task chair designed for big and tall users who need reliable support during long work sessions. Its 500 lb weight capacity accommodates a wide range of body types. The bonded leather upholstery provides a professional appearance suitable for executive or conference settings. It is built for daily use in demanding office environments.

Heavy-Duty Mechanisms and Chrome Base

Heavy-duty height and tilt mechanisms allow easy, reliable adjustments to fit individual preferences. The metal base and arms feature a chrome finish that resists wear while complementing the black bonded leather. Heavy-duty casters provide smooth movement across office flooring without sticking. The sturdy metal construction supports the chair's high weight rating consistently.

500 lb Weight Capacity Decides Fit

The maximum load capacity of 500 lbs is the single specification that determines whether this chair meets a user's safety requirements. Buyers who need a higher weight rating must look for a different model. The high back design specifically serves taller individuals who need full upper-body support. Users weighing under the limit will find the structure built to handle the load.

Questions about this item

How does the 500 lb weight capacity affect daily use of the 3502BL chair?

The 500 lb maximum load capacity means the heavy-duty height and tilt mechanisms are built for reliable adjustments under heavier users, and the bonded leather seat with high back provides support for big and tall individuals during extended sitting.

What floor space do the 29 by 31 inch dimensions of the 3502BL require?

The chair occupies a 29 inch width by 31 inch depth footprint, so allow at least that much clear floor area plus extra room behind the 48.5 inch high back for reclining and caster movement on the chrome metal base.

Which steps are involved in assembling the 3502BL and where do people make mistakes?

Typical assembly involves attaching the casters to the chrome metal base, inserting the gas lift, mounting the seat onto the lift, and bolting the high back and chrome metal arms; the step most often done wrong is not fully seating the gas lift into the base before adding the seat, which causes wobble.
