Big & Tall Mid-Back Chair

The Safco 3503BL is a mid-back task chair built for larger users who need a higher weight rating. Bonded leather covers the seat and back for a professional appearance and comfortable feel. Heavy-duty height and tilt mechanisms allow reliable posture adjustments throughout the day. Chrome-finished metal arms and base complete the durable construction.

400 lb Capacity and Mid-Back Support

Rated for 400 lbs, the chair accommodates big and tall individuals in conference rooms or private offices. The mid-back design supports the lumbar and thoracic region without the bulk of a high-back executive seat. Bonded leather upholstery resists daily wear while remaining easy to clean. Heavy-duty casters roll smoothly on hard floors or low-pile carpet.

Bonded Leather Seat Material

The seat and back use bonded leather rather than fabric, mesh or genuine leather. Buyers who prefer breathable mesh for long sessions or full-grain leather for ageing character should consider other models. This chair is sold as a single unit in black with chrome accents. First listed by the manufacturer in 2020.

Questions about this item

Will the 400 lb capacity and heavy-duty casters handle daily use on a carpeted floor alongside my older desk?

The chair is rated for 400 lbs and uses heavy-duty casters designed for smooth movement, so it should roll on carpet while supporting the stated load.

How can I confirm the height and tilt mechanisms are working correctly after assembly?

Adjust the pneumatic height lever through its full range and engage the tilt tension knob; the seat should move smoothly and lock in the positions you select.

Does the box include the chrome base, arms and casters, or must I buy any of those separately?

The chair ships as one unit with the metal chrome base, metal chrome arms and heavy-duty casters already included; no extra parts are required.
