Mobile tub file with locking drawer

The Safco 5364BL combines a top tub file and a bottom drawer for letter-size documents in a single mobile unit. Both compartments lock with four keyed-alike keys for secure storage. It rolls on four 2-inch swivel casters, two of which lock in place. Sturdy steel construction with a mar-resistant powder-coat finish supports daily office use.

300 lb capacity and letter-size filing

The unit holds letter-size hanging folders in the top tub and the full-suspension drawer below, giving two distinct filing zones. Rated at 300 lb total weight capacity, it handles heavy document loads without sagging. The slide-away top lid allows quick viewing and retrieval of active files. It runs out of space when folder volume exceeds the combined height of both compartments.

Upgrades from stationary cabinets or open crates

Replaces fixed filing cabinets when mobility between workstations is needed. The locking top and drawer add security that open tubs lack. The jump is worth it for teams that move project files daily and need both quick top access and locked drawer storage. Not suited for legal-size folders or for users who need fire-rated protection.

Questions about this item

Will the 2" swivel casters on the 5364BL roll under my existing desk?

The unit is 28 inches high overall; measure your desk apron clearance to confirm the casters will fit underneath.

How can I verify both the top lid and bottom drawer lock securely after assembly?

Turn each key in the lock cylinder — both the lid and the full-suspension drawer should engage with a distinct click and resist opening when locked.

Does the 5364BL include letter-size hanging file folders or must I buy them separately?

Hanging file folders are sold separately; the box contains the steel tub file, four 2" swivel casters (two locking), and four keyed-alike keys.
