Steel Wall Pocket for Legal Documents

The Safco 5653BL Onyx wall pocket is a steel mesh organiser finished in black powder coat. It mounts on a wall to keep legal-size charts, files and papers within reach while clearing desk space. The unit is sold as a single piece and includes all necessary mounting hardware. It suits offices, home workspaces or any area needing vertical document storage.

Construction and Daily Use

Sturdy steel mesh and a durable powder-coat finish resist bending and surface wear during normal handling. The open design allows quick visual identification of contents without doors or drawers to operate. No moving parts mean silent use and zero power draw. Mounting hardware is supplied so installation requires only basic tools.

Sustained Load Behaviour

Under continuous full loading the rigid steel frame maintains its shape and the wall fixings carry the weight without deformation. The powder-coat surface resists scratching from repeated file insertion and removal over long periods. Because the pocket has no mechanical or electrical components, performance does not degrade with time or heavy daily use. It is not suited for storing bound books or heavy objects beyond paper files.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 5653BL wall pocket and what step is often missed?

Use the included wall mounting hardware to secure the steel pocket to the wall; the step people miss is confirming the wall anchors match the wall material so the 15-inch wide unit stays level and secure.

What maintenance or replacement will the Onyx steel pocket need later?

The powder-coat finish on the steel mesh resists wear; only the wall anchors may need replacement if they loosen over time, otherwise no regular maintenance is required.

What limit appears first when the pocket is loaded continuously?

The wall anchors and mounting surface reach their load limit before the sturdy steel construction does, so the weight the wall can hold becomes the practical ceiling.
