Adjustable Sit-Stand Stool

The Safco 6660BL stool pneumatically adjusts from 27" to 34" to suit desk-height and counter-height tasks. An oversized tractor-shaped seat uses PVC-coated gel molded onto a metal frame for extended comfort. A 26" five-star chrome base includes an adjustable footring and 2" dual-wheel carpet casters. The unit supports up to 250 lb and provides full 360-degree swivel.

Suited for Standing Desks and Counters

This stool fits users who alternate between sitting and standing at elevated surfaces. The height range covers typical drafting tables and counter workstations. Buyers needing a backrest must purchase it separately. Shoppers who require a fixed-height chair or a model rated above 250 lb should look elsewhere.

27" to 34" Pneumatic Height Range

The single specification that decides fit is the pneumatic seat-height adjustment spanning 27" to 34". Measure your worksurface height and preferred sitting posture against this range before ordering. The adjustable footring adds support for taller positions. If your surface falls outside this window, the stool will not work ergonomically.

Questions about this item

Does the Safco 6660BL stool ship with a backrest or must it be ordered separately?

The backrest is sold separately; the stool arrives with the pneumatic cylinder, 26" chrome five-star base, adjustable footring and 2" dual-wheel carpet casters already attached.

Should I choose the 27"-34" pneumatic range or a fixed-height model for a sit-stand desk?

The 27"-34" pneumatic range lets you match both desk-height and counter-height tasks without tools, while a fixed-height stool would lock you to one level.

Will the 250 lb capacity and 360-degree swivel hold up when I shift weight at a standing desk?

The metal frame, oversized tractor-shaped PVC-gel seat and five-star chrome base are rated for 250 lb and full 360-degree swivel, so the stool remains stable during frequent posture changes.
