Extended-height ergonomic chair

The Safco Apprentice II is an extended-height office chair built for users who need a taller seating position at counters, drafting tables or standing-height desks. It combines a two-ply foam seat and back with black vinyl upholstery for firm, wipe-clean support during long shifts.

Adjustable back and waterfall seat

The backrest moves up and down and includes built-in lumbar support to match different torso lengths. A waterfall front edge reduces pressure on the thighs, while pneumatic seat-height adjustment and 360-degree swivel let the sitter change posture without leaving the chair.

Simple assembly on a 26-inch base

The 26-inch moulded nylon five-star base ships with 2-inch dual-wheel carpet casters that press into the sockets by hand. Arm pads are sold separately, so buyers who want arm support must order the adjustable T-pad kit at the same time. Chair capacity is 250 lb.

Questions about this item

Will the vinyl upholstery or two-ply foam need replacement after heavy use?

The chair uses two-ply foam on both seat and back covered with vinyl; under normal office use the materials are durable, but the vinyl surface can be cleaned with mild soap and water if it shows wear.

What stops the pneumatic lift from holding height after hours of sitting?

The pneumatic seat-height adjustment is rated for the 250 lb capacity; staying within that limit prevents premature loss of pressure during all-day use.

Does the 26 inch nylon base with dual-wheel casters get hot or noisy on carpet after a full day?

The molded nylon five-star base and 2 inch dual-wheel carpet casters run quietly and stay cool; no motor or fan is present, so heat and noise remain negligible.
